I had the pleasure of being taught German by Gunter with the aim of achieving my B1 language certificate. His teaching approach made the complexity of German grammar clear and fun... he's exceptionally knowledgeable about the language, both in its formal "flavour" and the way it is actually spoken day-to-day. Gunter's lessons were fun and informative, and almost without realizing it, my German language improved immensely under his guidance; from never haven written a word of German before (although I could sort of speak a little), Gunter's lessons got me from my previous basic level to B1 in a matter of weeks. (Results: 100% spoken, 100% reading, 98% listening, 75% writing.) If anybody needs personal language tuition, I can heartily recommend Gunter... not only is he a great teacher, he's a really nice person, approachable, fun and friendly.
